ABOUT ME
Hello and welcome to the 4th Grade website!
My name is Mr. Christopher J. Rudd and I will be your 4th Grade teacher.
I am blessed and privileged that God has directed me to be the 4th Grade teacher at St. Luke's and I am looking forward to meeting you all with great excitement.
A little about me
I am originally from England and moved to San Diego in 2008. I studied International Hospitality Management for my undergraduate degree at Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, England.
I have been in education since 2009, when I became a professor and academic dean at a small private university specializing in hospitality and tourism in San Diego. In 2012, I married my wonderful wife, who works at City of Hope, and moved to Los Angeles to be with her.
In 2015 I graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Master of Arts degree in Education and preliminary California teaching credential. Previously to St. Luke's I was teaching at a catholic elementary school as their junior high educator of religion, social studies and science.
I love to travel and have visited many countries including, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Ireland, Spain (I lived there for one year), Russia, Estonia, South Africa (I lived there for 4 years and completed my high school there), Zambia and China.
